Question: p0440 error code help

i have tried replacing gas cap but still get p0440 evap emissions code

P0440 Evaporative System Malfunction, Large Leak

If the cap didn't fix the issue (and it takes a few days for it to reset by itself) then you have to have the evap system checked for leaks to see what has failed.
