Question: PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a 1989 Ford f150 that i just put a new alternator in about 2 weeks ago and ever since then when im driving it pops/cuts out but doesnt lose any power. Do any of you know whats going on?

Is the check engine light on? It sounds like you've got a misfire. Have the alternator checked for shorted diodes. And if you haven't had a tune-up in the last year, that would be a good step to take.
