Question: PO302 Fault Code: Cylinder 2 Misfire

I have 101,000 miles. In the last 3-4 weeks I have received and reset this code about 4 times to see if it consistancy comes back - and it does after a few days. I have ordered a new set of spark plugs and will replace ASAP. If this does not solve the problem, I will swap the COP for cylinder 2 and see if the problem tracks the COP. Any other ideas to try? Also, what is the recomended plug gap for this engine?

VW manual says for misfires on the 1.9 DSL

Check fuel injection pump

Check engine speed sensor

Check fuel filter

Check fuel injector

Check EGR valve
