Question: Pontiac pursuit electrical problems?
I've been having problems with my pursuit since day one. Everything would randomly go crazy, it would start lurching, the gear shift would click, power steering would go out, and all the lights and dials on the dashboard would go crazy. Had it in to the shop several times and they said there was nothing wrong. Then I brought it in a month ago and they fixed the wheel bearings and the brakes, and told me that would fix everything else. It didn't. Last week my steering wheel wouldn't lock, so I couldn't take my key out, or get it off of "accessory" so my battery wouldn't actually shut off. I had to disconnect the battery every time I shut off the car so that it wouldn't run right down. Then a couple days ago the battery had enough, and it's just done now. Is this an electrical problem? What kind of cost am I looking at to get it fixed?
