Question: power loss/ sluggish
I recently changed motors on my 93 geo prizm, I also made a block off plate for the egr valve since my old motor didn’t have a egr hole in the head or any of the components on the intake manifold and my new motor did have the hole (but I don’t have any of the components) which made it really loud.
Took the car out for a test drive and the car ran great. This morning I top off my gas tank for my work week and as soon as I left the gas station the car felt really sluggish and it seemed like it didn’t want to rev above 4000 RPM (just a guess since I don’t have a Tach), I pulled into a parking lot and looked under the hood and gave it a couple of revs and I then heard a pop and noticed that one of the clips from the air box had been blown off.
After reading some articles on this site from people with the similar problem, I went and checked the FPR and the vac line and its in good shape.
Please help if possible,
Thank you
