Question: power steering is stiff

can i still drive my car with this problem.

It depends. If the power steering pump bearings are the cause of the problem and it is getting worse, the pump could seize up. That would cause your serpentine drive belt to fail and everything that it is also driving will fail, causing your vehicle to stall.

But the problem can also be caused by low power steering fluid or a loose/worn serpentine belt. So check those first. And I wouldn't recommend any long trips until the repairs have been made for the above reason.
