Question: Power Window failure

Hello I have an 04 colorado...recently i have been having problems with my passenger side power window. Sometimes it works and sometime it doesnt. I can tell it has power going to the switch from the driver side and passenger side. yesterday i put my window down and it just so happen to stop working and of course it started to rain... so i need to get this figured out ASAP!! I took the inside door panel out and pulled the wires out of the switch. I tried running a test light to see if i had power to the switch and going to the motor. could not get anything so i thought my test light was messed up but tried sumthin else on another vehicle and got power. And i kno my switch is not bad because i can hear it click everytime i turn the ignition on and when i turn it off the clicking goes away!! any advice would be helpful thanks!!

If the switch is good and there is no power to the motor, the wiring has an issue. More probably is the motor/regulator is bad. Have someone hold the switch in the up position and tap on the outer part of the door. If the window goes up, it's a motor issue. If it doesn't it still could be, but the motor is just to bad to move.
