Question: Problems with fuel system

It doesnt happen all the time but sometimes my truck decides at 500 rpms or under to die on my so i have to keep my foot on the gas even at a red light i was wondering if i could be have a fuel injector problem

Could be injector related, but it sounds more like an IAC issue.

Your vehicle has an IAC (Idle Air Control ) valve. When it opens or closes it increases or decreases the amount of air it lets into the throttle body. By changing the air flow, it controls the idle speed. Yours sounds like it is not reacting.

This is all assuming your vehicle has been tuned up and is mechanically sound.
