Question: propeller shaft

bearing on propeller shaft went out.Told they go out every 60,000 miles. It's all one piece on the propeller shaft and I have to replace the hole thing.Why isn't this a recall?

Because they don't have to. If there is not enough of them going out they don't have to recall it. Also it made it out of warranty.

I know it made it out of recall but the company I bought my reconditioned driveshaft said they are making alot of money on this. Porshe Cayenne and an Audi SUV,don't know which one but they have the same part with the same problems
