Question: rack and pinion what's the cost ?

I just bought a 04 TL and when you turn the stearing wheel it makes a noise and looks like the power steering fluid is leaking. the car steers fine an there is no viberations. A buddy of mind thought it was the rack / pnion?

Have the leak diagnosed. A failure of the rack isn't common on these cars. It's usually the pump or lines.

List is 5.6 hours labor not including alignment.

The rack is about $700
