Question: rattleing noise

i checked it out and it looks like the cover or guard on my cc is loose at one end. i checked the bolts and everything looked tight, i can figure out a way to fix it. any ideas will help, its slightly embarrassing to drive around with that noise

Most of those heat shields are riveted on. If it broke loose, take it to a muffler shop. A simple re rivet or spot/tack weld should fix it. and it should cost very much to do the repair.
