Question: Regarding automatic transmission

Does the automatic transmission filter and fluid need to be flushed or changed at 30,000? Does it have to be done at the Ford Dealership or can I get it done anyplace that does this kind of work?

30k is about right for that service. You can check the manufacturer's recommended mileage at the 'your service schedule' link on this site.

And you can have that service, and an others, done at the shop of your choosing, but keep the paperwork for warranty records.
