Question: Repair Cost?

I have to trouble codes for my car: C0040 and C0561...based on these codes, what can I expect to get this fixed and do you know of a place to take it for reasonable prices in Cary, IL 60013? I know the C0040 code may be the Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor.

Some info on why not to try to diagnose the C0561 before dealing with any other codes set first:

Yes, the C0040 is often caused by a wheel speed sensor, but not always. It will need further diagnostics. To get an estimate, you'll need the proper diagnosis, and for that, you'll need a shop.

You can try the 'find a mechanic' link on this site, or for reviews of local shops.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
