Question: Right tail light of my 02 Escalade not functioning correctly

The light bulb is not burned out. The light comes on when I turn on my lights, but extinguishes when I press the brake pedal. It also functions when I use my right turn signal, but again extinguishes when I press the brake pedal.

Sounds like maybe one of the filaments on the bulb is burnt out, it's installed wrong, or the bulb socket or wiring to the socket is damaged.
