Question: rough idle and choking.. die down on acceleration for 87 iroc-z tpi 350 (camaro)

The car has 146*** miles... The previous owner installed a new distributer wires, plugs, and tps.. Has a holley throttle body and spacer.. Car startsup fine and normal idle.. If i push the accelerator past 10% the car will choke, and try to die out. Im thinking i need to set the time on the distributer cap.. Maybe a leak in a vacuum hose??
