Question: rough idle, sluggish

when engine is cold idle is rough, also acceleration at 45 to 50 chugs, RPM stay stable but mph fluctuate by a few 2 to 4mph. does this when driving up hill also.

If you only have those problems when the engine is cold, then the first thing to do is test the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor. If it is telling the computer that it's 20 below outside, it will cause all the problems you're describing.
