Question: Running hot, heater won't come on.

Ok folks here is the story. My heater stopped working and then 2 days later my truck starting running hot when only driven like 5 miles. I checked fuse for the heater and was still good. took out blower motor and was not able to get it to turn on using a jumper. bought new one and still get nothing. Replaced the thermostat and still running hot. any ideas?

Sounds like air in the cooling system, or restricted coolant flow. You should make sure the air is bled from the cooling system.
