Question: SAFE where trip mileage should be.

When I open my car door I hear three beeps, safe is on my dashboard where trip mileage is, brake light flashes and red steering wheel icon pops up. Car starts fine but it does this everytime and now my check engine light is on. I callled my dealership they said it was probably just a glitch.

It's hard to say if something is a glitch without looking at it first. At the very least, the check engine light indicates a stored code (possibly the steering angle sensor) and should be cleared to see if it comes back on. If you aren't getting satisfactory service from the dealership and you are no longer covered under warranty, take it to an independent shop.
