Question: Scrach repair

I have a 2011 Prius. The car got a few scratches and a small dent along the passenger driver side door. The scratches are pretty deep. I got an estimate to get it fixed for $2,00o. Is that over-priced?

You can't repair scratches that are into the base coat with out completely repainting the panel and blending into the rest of the car. The dent may or may not require a new panel, adding cost. Overall, it sounds like it actually might be a pretty cheap estimate but it's hard to say with out seeing it in person.

If really want to fix it you might want to consider going through your insurance.
