Question: seat belt light on

have taken car in .they tell me the fix is un plug a connector plug back in. this works for a while then light comes back on

Take it back in. It's under warranty. And if they just want to unplug it again, explain it is only temporary. Having to repeatedly do that on a new car is unacceptable. If they refuse to look further ask for the factory consumer assistance phone number. With that you can speak with a factory rep that can act as a mediator between you and the dealer.
