Question: Security light came on and car started jerking 08 pontiac g6

yesterday check engine light came on, then security light a few minutes after the lights came on the car started jerking as i was pulling into the shop. Later on the mechanic hooked up the computer to the odb port and it gave two codes showed up something about memory and connection. There was also a error message in the odometer. When they went to look at it the lights were off and it drove fine. So they cleared the codes and off i went but this morning started my car to let it warm up, and security light came on and jerking again all the way back to shop. (2008 Pontiac G6 Gt coupe)

Generally, recording the exact codes before clearing them is a good idea. But it sounds like you have an intermittent electrical problem, and checking connectors, as the code indicated, is a good place to start. During diagnosis, disabling the security system may help simplify things.
