Question: Service Engine Soon Light

Today is Thursday and my service engine soon light has been on for two days now on my 2011 Nissan altima sedan 2.5. I have checked the fuel cap and its still on. I purchased the car March 2012 and it only has 30,000 miles on it. Are there any recalls on my car and why is this light on on a fairly new vehicle? Please help me

There are hundreds of different problems that the light could indicate, so you'll need to get it scanned by a shop to find out what the cause is. It is not uncommon to have a check engine light on at that mileage and does not necessarily indicate something serious.
