Question: should i change the transmission

I have a 96 grand caravan. I've changed the output and input sensors and the solenoid. It has neutral reverse but when I turn my car on start driving in 1st then it gos to second but then it stays in 2nd at 50mph I'm around 4.5thousand rpm. It just won't shift past 2nd I've tried kickin it into neutral and Putin it back in drive that doesn't help. Also once it's in 2nd it won't shift down either til I restart the car. Its got a 3.3 motor I had a transmission shop do a quick learn on it but it's throwing no codes
