Question: Should I replace the Clutch, Flywheel, and Master Cylinder for $1,400.00 or scrap the car?

The car has 216,650 miles and has never had any major mechanical problems. Everything in it is the original part that came with the car when it was purchased new back in 2001.

That's a high price for that job. You may want to call around and get another estimate on the repair (and even another diagnosis is a good idea). But if it ends up costing 1400, then the question is: what kind of a car could you get for $1400? If you are interested in getting a new car anyway, then this is a good time, but it's not always cost effective when you look at the bigger picture.
