Question: Slight ticking sound from engine and slight rocking of the car

When I started my car I noticed it had a slight rocking to it. Plus I can hear a ticking sound from the engine. Now my engine light is on and it went into reduced power. Today I started it up again and once again it did it but only for about 2 mins. Then ran fine but engine light is still on. I just replaced a cracked radiator. Not sure what is going on with my car. Just did an oil change as well. Any ideas why this could be? Every so often the engine just turns over bit won't start. Ill stop and try again and it'll start right up. ????

Sounds like a misfire, probably ignition related. Check the fault codes to see what cylinder is misfiring. You might want to check the spark plugs, ignition coils etc.

It goes without saying that these pieces wear out, but they do so slowly, meaning you may not notice they need attention until ...
