Question: Spark plugs and Air filter

my toyota corolla 2006 has less then 40000 miles. Do i need to replace the plugs and air filter.

Your vehicle should have iridium or platinum plugs. That means they don't usually need replacement for about 100K miles. You can check your owner's manual for the actual service schedule.

As to the air filter, it may need replacement if you drive in a dusty environment. A quick inspection will tell if it need replacement.
