Question: Speedometer is messing up

2000 crown vic My speedometer does not work right it keeps jumping to the speed around every 20 mph or until i tap on the dashboard. Everything else on the cluster works proper any idea on what it can be

The speedo head in the cluster is the only thing I can think of. To fix it you need to replace the cluster.

Thank you for your reply sir went on ebay and bought a cluster. Everyone kept telling me it is the speed sensor $20.00 part so no big deal if they were wrong which they were so i have a cluster coming. Thank you again
