Question: squeal coming from rear of vehicle
HI,
I have a squeal coming from the rear of 2005 Pathfinder. The noise increases and decreases with the speed of the vehicle. The brakes are working smooth and there is no extra noise when brakes are applied. I have had the tires off and greased the calipers slide pins, brake pad contact points in the brakets that hold them in. The outer side of the rotors are wearing properly but the inside of the rotor you can tell that the path of the pad is not as wide as the pad itself. I've also changed u-joints so can rule that out. any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.
thank you
