Question: stalling and won't start

After rebuilt Rochester Quadrajet installed, truck started dying when hot and not restarting until cooled down for several hours. Then it gradually wouldn't start even at cold start. Towed to mechanic twice. Started right up for them and couldn't duplicate or find any problems with fuel system. I picked it up drove it 45 mins and it died in store parking lot, left it and next morning it started and drove 20 mins home. After sitting for a week, tried it this morning and no start again.

I would check your spark. I think it's the ignition module and pick up in your distributor.
