Question: Starting after it sat

Its been sitting for 2 years, but before it sat i changed oil and transmission fluid and gas had light on for empty but some in it, i know it needs a mass air flow sensor and i have a new battery, i live in SO CAL and its been out side never turned on. Where should i start to get it running? Iv been told just empty gas tank and fill it with you add the battery and magic but im sure its not that easy.

You are on the right tract. You might want to replace the fuel filter also. Change all of the fluids, expect some stink and smoke when you get it fired. You'll probably also have some leaks from dried out seals etc.

The fuel pump may or may not work after sitting for two years.
