Question: Struts or shocks

Feels Like>> Abnormal steering>> Only at certain speeds>> No>> Around 60 on the highway vehicle becomes a little difficult to control. Should the struts be changed? They have not been.

Mostly struts go bad in one of two ways. Either they leak fluid or they allow too much bounce. The fluid is a visual inspection. The bounce issue is usually noticed while driving over bumps or people say their car seems to "float" down the highway.

I recommend a front end/suspension check to look for looseness or wear. Both of those things can cause sloppy steering, vibrations, pulls, and rough riding conditions.
