2005 Subaru Forester stalls when put in reverse
Changed battery. Daughter started car no problem. Put in reverse and it stalls . Happened twice in a row. Any way to correct this without spending big money.

I was told by a Subaru dealer that the timing belt should be changed at 105,000 or 10 years .
