Question: suspension over travel

my 4x4 has a seven inch lift and when i bought it i noticed that the stop bumpers where taken off. if i leave them off will i start bending shocks or other parts? especially if i get twisted up on a trail.

Your vehicle is modified from stock, so you may have suspension issues most people don,t. Especially if you are taking it off road. As to the stops. They are there to prevent the suspension from bottoming out on the frame, so if you leave them out, you may indeed bend something.
