Question: tail light

the tail light needed to be replaced . my girlfriend went to the dealer and he told her that she need to change all 3 why only 1 was out

They recommend changing all of them so you don't have to take the light apart twice. You wouldn't want to change one bulb, get it all back together and have another one fail in a week or so.

Its preventative maintenance, but it is not required. You can just change the fail bulb if you want to.
