Question: temp. gauge

on an 80' day ill star the car, drive 4 10 min, n the thermostat wont move off of cold. ill look at it 2 secnds later n it will shoot rite up to the normal temp. could this b something than just the temp. gauge?

Sounds like you might need a repair in the cluster or maybe and engine management temperature sensor. This can be checked and accurately diagnosed with a good scan tool.
