Question: Temperature/Heat Flap

Our mechanic believes the temperature/Heat Flap is stuck on our car causing us not to feel heat. Our car only reaches room temperature and never gets warm. He said the entire dash board needs to be removed to fix it.

1) Is this true?
2) If yes, how much should it cost?

Could be correct. You can probably test this theory before doing the complete repair...

Replace the heater core while the dash is apart.


Expect 7-10 hours labor plus parts, this is a big job.
