Question: the A/C Button this not working

when you turn the car on air starts blowing and when you push the button for the AC the button light does not turn on and the air does not cool down.

Probably an issue with the HVAC. Maybe a failure of a component or pressure / charge quantity too low in the system. Have it diagnosed.
