Question: the axle on my car is shorter than the one that's made for it.

I took my car to get new axles put on and the one that is supposed to go on it is longer than the one on it now. What do i do

The new part is incorrect, so you need to have the shop order the correct part possibly from the Dealer if a correct size one can't be found aftermarket.
