The back window motors both quit at the same time. what can I do to keep them up without replacing the motors (currently I have big suction cups holding them up but it looks pretty stupid).
What can I expect to pay for a replacement master cylinder (including labor)?
many thanks!

You could remove the inner door panels and put a wedge under the window regulator. And while you are in there you may want to verify that power is in fact getting to the window motors.
Replacing the (brake) master cylinder on your car is book at 1.7 hours of labor time (rate dependent on your location and the shop you bring it to). The part cost varies depending on whether the car has ABS or not. It's about 100 dollars with ABS and 250 without ABS.
