Question: the engine cranks and will turn over after 10 attempts when cold

It runs fine and will restart with no problem when warm

Here is an article with some suggestions, and two other things to test that would be temperature related are the ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor and the crank position sensor. Test before replacing.
