Question: The fuel indicator light goes on and the gas needle goes up and down. What's wrong?
On occasion, with a full tank of gas, the gas needle will go up and down, and the fuel light goes on. I have to step on the gas slightly and the light goes off and the needle goes back to full. I believe the gas tank float may be moving around as I hear a slight noise in the rear of the car. What is the diagnosis and how much should it cost to repair? Thanks for your help.
