Question: the truck quit 3 times after the check engine light flashed, but would start back up. is this comp

the check engine light flashed and then the truck quit
could this be com0puter trouble and if so how much does a new computer cost

If the check engine light comes on, it means the computer has logged an error code. You will need to take your vehicle to a shop to have it scanned for diagnostic codes, and then troubleshooting can begin. It does not mean the computer is broken.
