Question: There is an issue with the brakes.

When my ABS light is on by brakes are fine, but when the ABS light is off the brakes take alot of pressure and pumping to stop and there is a weird sound what could it be?

I would have the wheel speed sensors checked. Also I would have the ABS pump motor and modual checked.
