Question: tie rods replacement

I need to replace the right front tie rod. I have heard it is best to go ahead and replace both sides and not just do one side. Also assume I need an alignment after installing new tie rod(s). Thoughts?

Yes it's a good idea to replace both tie rods at the same time. Also you need a alignment.
