Question: timing Belt

To Ron W:
Thank you for your reply to me timing belt question. My 1999 Sebring convertible JXi has a
2.5 L engine. The dealer said it has a belt but the owner's manual makes no mention of changing timing belt at any milage. Does my engine have a belt or a chain?

Your engine has a timing belt. The belt should be replaced every 60.000 miles.
