Question: timing belt

after replacing timig belt on 1995 Chrysler lhs 3.5 l timing marks allways come up what looks like 1 tooth out,some where along the line somebody marked it with a yellow paint mark.
it is over one of the timming marks and cam
mark comes up to it every time,when on top dead center on crank.

If the car ran fine with the yellow mark I would use it again. If it does not run good I would put it on the to the factory mark.
