Question: Timing belt / loud engine on cold start up

Hey, i have a question when i start my car in the cold mornings there is a weird sound (grinding) which looks like its coming from the timing belt. Once the car is warmed up the noise is gone. Is this normal or should I let a mechanic take a look/

You should have a shop look at it. You could have a pulley in the timing belt coming a part. If it fails there goes your engine.
