Question: timing belt replacement

I have 96000 miles on this car. It has been maintained at the dealer's (lindsay Cadillac) since I bought it there. When will I likely need to replace the timeing belt and how much will that cost?

I'd need to know your engine size to look up timing belt replacement specs. You can find that information also in your owner's manual in the service schedule and in our servicing your car section of this website.

As a general rule, most manufacturers recommend a timing belt replacement somewhere between 60K and 100K miles, but you should really look up the info specific to your vehicle. The dealer would know as well.
