Question: Timing chain...
Several months ago, I took my car into the dealership for an oil change and to replace a burned out tail light. They diagnosed the car with a bad timing chain. At the time, I did not get it replaced but now the engine is really making a pretty loud noise. I am thinking of taking it back in. My questions are what are the "symptoms" of a bad timing chain and how much should it cost to replace? Thanks for the advice.
