Question: Timing Chain?

My wife is pestering me to have my timing chain replaced - thinking that if the timing chain goes, the engine is toast. I have just passed 100k miles. I have not noticed any issues with my engine, but certainly do want to be preventative. When should I replace my timing chain, and/or are there other such critical belts, such as serpentine belt, etc., that could seal the fate of my engine. I love my Sub - it's been great.

You do not need to replace your timing chain. It should last 300k miles. I have 235k miles on mine and it is still fine. I would have the serp belt checked to make sure it's ok.
